This sweater belongs to a group of knits originally designed for the Danish Civil Defense in the 1970s. This updated version introduces various layers of finesse, such as clever fully-fashioned construction and a slightly elevated shoulder line for a more sculpted look. The fabric is crafted using a special knitting technique, where fine merino wool is plated with virgin wool to enhance strength and shape retention. Deceptively simple, yet thoughtfully engineered.
