JJJJound x S. N. S. HERNING

We collaborated with Montreal-based JJJJound on a quarter-zip sweater and a knitted watch cap, combining both of our aesthetics.

THE ETHOS OF ORIGINALITY

The original sweater, created for the Danish Civil Defense in the 1970s, embodies strength and resilience rooted in functional aesthetics; today, we call it the FENDER-III sweater.

PAIRING TWO LINES OF THOUGHT

The JJJJound partnership felt natural, as we have long admired their minimal yet thoughtful design approach. Pairing with a connoisseur can unite two lines of thought into a clear vision.

JAPANESE PATCHES

The pieces are deceptively simple: JJJJound proposed adding a woven Japanese fabric to the forearms — a distinctive touch, especially since we haven’t used non-knitted fabrics since the 1980s.
