This scarf is knitted in a heavily-textured ribbed fabric - in a so-called cardigan stitch. It is single-layered, heavy and warm. 

Thickness

4GG - meaning 4 needles per inch, this is a quite heavy fabric.

100% pure, new merino wool, mixed yarns

Colour

The scarf is made with a mix of black merino yarns - with a little bit of black-blue yarn, resulting in a black with a slight bluish hue.

CARE

Gentle Washing

Hand wash or use a washing machine with a delicate or wool cycle. Use cold water to prevent shrinking and avoid agitation.

Mild Detergent

Use a mild, pH-balanced wool detergent or a gentle soap to clean wool garments. Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners.

Avoid Overwashing

Wool doesn't need frequent washing. Spot clean small stains whenever possible, and only wash when necessary.

Temperature Control

Avoid extreme temperatures. Don't use hot water or place wool items in direct sunlight to dry, as it can cause shrinking and fading.

Dry Flat

Lay wool items flat on a clean towel or a drying rack to air dry. Avoid hanging them, as this can stretch the fabric.

Storage

Store wool items in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use breathable garment bags or storage containers to protect them from dust and moths.

Pilling

Wool can develop small balls of fibers (pills). Use a fabric shaver or a gentle fabric brush to remove them. All our products are knitted very densely - so pilling should normally not be a problem. If you do experience problems, always reach out to us for guidance.

Steam, Don't Iron

Use a garment steamer to remove wrinkles from wool instead of ironing, which can flatten and damage the fibers.

Read Labels

    Always check the care instructions on the garment's label for specific care recommendations, as some wool blends or specialty items may have different requirements.
