WHEN I WAS YOUNG, AN UNEXPECTED SITUATION AROSE DURING A FACTORY AND WAREHOUSE RELOCATION. HUNDREDS OF WHAT WERE, TO US, INVALUABLE SAMPLES FROM DECADES OF WORK WERE LOST, EACH REPRESENTING A STAGE IN OUR BRAND'S EVOLUTION. THIS INCIDENT SERVED AS A POWERFUL REMINDER OF THE FLEETING NATURE OF PHYSICAL OBJECTS AND THE URGENT NEED TO PROTECT THEM BEYOND SIMPLE STORAGE.

THE "DISTRIBUTED ARCHIVE" CAMPAIGN IS OUR ANSWER TO THIS CHALLENGE—A WAY TO SAFEGUARD OUR LEGACY BY SHARING IT WITH OUR CUSTOMERS. UNLIKE A TRADITIONAL ARCHIVE, WHICH OFTEN CONJURES IMAGES OF CLOSED, DUSTY ROOMS ACCESSIBLE TO ONLY A FEW, THIS CONCEPT TAKES A FRESH APPROACH. WE INVITE EVERYONE TO PURCHASE THESE RARE PIECES, WITH THE HOPE THAT THEY WILL SHARE PHOTOS OF THEMSELVES WEARING THEM. IN DOING SO, OUR BRAND’S PERSONAL HISTORY IS ENTRUSTED TO A COMMUNITY OF “ARCHIVISTS.”
