About this CDG x SNS garment

This buttoned crew neck was originally designed ca 1979.

COMME des GARCONS asked us to stay as closely as possible to the original design.

However, to tie it into the COMME des GARCONS shirt collection - Rei Kawakubo added a precisely designated yellow stripe - around the collar, and in the cuff and hemline, adding finesse to this plainly striped piece.

COLLECTOR'S PIECE

Notice that thit product was knitted in Herning, Denmark 2007/2008 - as part of our COMME des GARCONS collaboration. Back then, we made a small run of extra garments - and these have been kept securely in our archives since then. Now we decided to sell a few of them - we were very honoured to make them back then, and wanted to share.

Description

Crew neck with tin buttons knitted in a firm fabric - made with an 12GG machine, knitted in 100% pure, new virgin wool.

Care
Wash your knitted wool garment by hand or dry clean. Remember always to use lukewarm water and mild, wool-safe detergent. Never rub, scrub or wring and always dry flat.
